E. J. Edgar from Sulphur, OK
This bass is 26 inches long and weighed 9.0 lbs. It was caught on March 21, 2002 on Arbuckle Lake at 2:00 p.m. Water Temperature was about 52 degrees and the air temperature was 54 and sunny skies. The fish was caught on a secondary point inside a spawning cove in about 13 feet of water. The bait I was using was a 1/4 oz. hair jig and a small pork trailer black with blue flake. The presentation was unbelievably slow.
