How
many times have you went fishing and wished that you could
remember what had worked on previous fishing trips where you had
great days and caught several fish?
Chapman
Spangler has come up with an idea that I think will help anglers
in their fishing endeavor this year and in the years to come.
Chapman came up with the idea of a fishing diary that anglers
can record fishing trip information in. This diary has a section
for each day of the 2002 year.
By keeping
accurate records each time that they go fishing, they will be
able to look back on previous fishing trips to help in choosing
where they will be fishing and what lures have previously been
successful under the same circumstances. Just some of the 40
pieces of information that can be recorded from a fishing trip
include:
- Lake
- High and
Low temperatures for the day
- Water level
- Water
clarity
- Lures
- Lure
presentation
- Area of
lake
- GPS points
The Angler's
Fishing Diary 2002 also has a Daily Planner for each day of the
month, pages that let you enter information on patterning fish by water temperature and season of the year and
also has pages for
information on fishing trips by the month.
At $19.95, I
think this can be one of the most valuable tools for the
Oklahoma Bass Angler.
The Angler's
Fishing Diary can be purchased at Backlash Tackle in Tulsa, OK.
