| Come join in the
fun, fellowship, camaraderie and great competition. If you've
never tried competitive couples bass fishing before be ready for
an enjoyable experience. Talk it over, tell your friends about
us, better yet bring them out with you.
Couples must join as a team:
husband-wife, boyfriend-girlfriend, father-daughter, mother-son,
grandfather-granddaughter, grandmother-grandson, or any
combination consisting of one each male and female.
We have members of all ages
from the young to the young at heart.
Our members range from the
novice to the experts. There is no better competition while
still having great fun.
Very low yearly entry fees of
$25.00 per couple plus $15.00 per couple for each tournament
fished. We also have a $5.00 optional big bass jackpot with a
100% pay back. Best of two day tournaments have jackpots each
day. The His and Her Bass Club is the largest and oldest couples
bass fishing club in Oklahoma or surrounding states. We were
organized in 1976. We have a set limit of 50 couples and average
about 40 couples at our 9 tournaments each year. We pride
ourselves on being the fun fishing club.
Our meeting are always the
first Wednesday of each month at the Transport Workers Union of
America Local 514 at 11929 East Pine Street at 7:00pm.
Two day tournaments: Couples
can fish either one day or both days, we only count your best
days weight but both days weight is counted for Angler of the
Year.
We fish for points, trophies
and plaques which are presented at our monthly business meeting
for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd places. Big Bass Trophy is also awarded
for each tournament.
We also award yearly trophies
and plaques based on accumulated points for the whole year.
Awards are presented for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd places, Big Bass
for the Year, largest stringer weight for the year. Total weight
for the year determines Angler of the Year.
We don't stop with fishing and
awards however, we also do many other fun things such as camping
at our tournaments, Cook Outs, Door Prizes, Picnics, Christmas
party, Halloween party, Awards Banquet, Awards Dinner, Pot Luck
Dinners, Gag Gifts, Jackpot Tournaments, Family Picnic, Fund
Raising Projects, Boat Show, etc.
We are a Non-Profit
Organization and all the money from fees goes back to the
members as Prizes, Trophies, Plaques, Door Prizes, etc.
