Proceeds from this
tournament go to The Tulsa FireFighter Educational Clowns to fund
the various programs they sponsor.
These are off-duty Tulsa Firefighters that have a common goal of
teaching Fire and Life Safety to as many children as possible with
the resources available to them.
They are a Volunteer, Incorporated, Non-Profit organization funded
through donations, private and corporate.
Their organization performs Entertaining and Educational Fire &
Safety presentations to more than 50,000 children annually. They
have provided assistance to burn victims and their families for the
past 15 years.
Their focus is within the school systems, teaching kindergarten
through third grade.
One of their main events is the "BURN CAMP" which is held annually.
This camp is provided for children & teenagers that have suffered
burn injuries anytime in their lives. Camp is provided free of
charge to any child from the ages of 5 - 16 that have suffered burns
or any disfiguring injuries that require hospitalization. The Tulsa
FireFighter Educational Clowns also provide transportation to and
from the camp if needed.
ENTRY FEE:
$60 ENTRY PER BOAT
80% PAYBACK ON ENTRY

6th Place $ 100
BIG BASS:
There is a non-mandatory Big Bass Fee of $20 per team, which must be
paid prior to fishing. Payback of Big Bass is 100%.
Big Bass...........$1,000 (Based on 50 boats)
PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF REFRESHMENTS AT THE TOURNAMENT WILL
BENEFIT THE TULSA FIREFIGHTER EDUCATIONAL CLOWNS. DONATIONS WILL BE
ACCEPTED FOR CHANCES ON DOORPRIZES.
TOURNAMENT RULES:
1. VICTOR LEAKE AND THE CIMARRON VALLEY
BASSMASTERS WILL BE IN CHARGE OF THE
WEIGH-IN
2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to the public with paid
entry.
3. STATE & LOCAL LAWS: All State and local
laws enforced.
4. ENTRY FEES: See entry form on this flyer
or pay at ramp.
Must have signed entry form before
start of fishing.
5. DEPARTURE & RETURN: Number of flights
will be determined
by number of entries. Must leave out
of Prairie View Ramp; no
trailering allowed. Order of takeoff
will be determined by the order of
receipt of entry. If registering at
ramp, you will be assigned takeoff
numbers as you are checked in. All
contestants must have their name
on the board before 3pm.
6. SCORING: 5 fish limit, 14-inch minimum.
Only Large Mouth,
Spotted, and/or Small Mouth Bass
allowed. Dead fish will be weighed
at weigh master’s discretion. No
dead fish can win big bass pot.
1/2 pound will be deducted from total
weight, for each dead fish.
Short fish will result in loss of
largest fish being weighed.
7. BOATS & MOTORS: Any safe boat over ten
feet with working
livewell and an operable kill stwitch.
8. TACKLE & EQUIPMENT: Only artificial bait
or lures may be
used. Pork-style baits are allowed.
No trolling, must be caught on rod
& reel.
9. SAFETY & SPORTSMANSHIP: Safe boating and
fishing
practices must be observed at all
times. Life jackets must be worn
when boat is on plane.
10. FISHING ALONE: Contestants may elect to fish
without a
partner and pay full entry fee.
11. MONEY TIES: In case of a tie the winner will be the
team
with largest bass. If still a tie,
will add 2 places together and
divide equally.
12. THERE IS NO DEAD WATER TIME.
13. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE may be in your
possession
during tournament.
14. WEIGH-IN: No fish will be weighed in
unless brought to
weigh-in in a bag with
water.
15. LATE PENALTY: One pound per minute up to
10 minutes
will be deducted, then
disqualification. No excuses or exceptions.
16. ENTRY DEADLINE: Contestants may pay at
ramp.
Officials will start taking
money at 5 am, morning of event. Or mail
in entry form.
