2nd Annual Larry
Mann Memorial Night Bass Tournament Results
The 2nd
Annual Larry Mann Memorial Night Bass Tournament held Saturday,
August 8th, at Grand Lake out of Martin Landing, was
deemed a great success with 81 teams participating in paying tribute
to a great fishing legend.

Phil Hinch and Brett White |
Brett White and
Phil Hinch, both from Catoosa, topped the field with their 4-fish
limit weighing in at 15.46 lbs. Their stringer included Big Bass of
the tournament, a 5.69 lb largemouth, for a total payday of $1,305.

Kirk Harris and Jo McDaniel |
In a very close
Second Place, Jo McDaniel of Columb, Kansas and Kirk Harris of
Fairland, brought another 4-fish limit to the scales for a total of
15.24 lbs., worth $550.

Dave Masters and Bobby Lollis |
Third Place and
$400 went to Dave Masters of Bixby and Bobby Lollis of Hominy with
their limit weighing 14.66 lbs.

Fourth place and
$300 went to Paul McCutchin of Broken Arrow and Aaron Witt of Inola

Eric Drenner and Randy Abercrombie |
Fifth place and
$250 went to Randy Abercrombie of Vinita and Eric Drenner of
Claremore ( 4-fish, 14.09 lbs ).
Second Big Bass
and $225 was awarded to David Cox and Vic Johnson, both from Neosho,
Missouri for their 5.42 anchor fish.
Forty-four teams
weighed a total of 162 fish for a total of 409.37 lbs, including 34
4-fish limits.

Tournament
Director Dave Roush expressed his appreciation for the teams that
fished this memorial tournament. “Larry was a legend in bass
fishing in Oklahoma, as well as a good friend to many of us,” Roush
said. “We all miss him very much.” The tournament entry fee
included a $10 donation which raised $810 for the Mann Family.
