The Tulsa Metro Bass League held
its fourth regular season event "The Keystone Chevrolet Open" on
Saturday, June 28th at Keystone Lake out of the New Mannford Ramp.
Scott Ross and Jason Hougland, both of Claremore, out-fished 44
other teams, bringing one of only 5 limits to the scales. At 11.22
lbs, their stringer was worth $535.
Second Place and $385 was awarded to Ed Broaddrick of Skiatook and
Jim Alexandres of Sperry. With another limit of five fish, Ed and
Jim weighed in 10.87 lbs.
The Sallee brothers of Collinsville, Lincoln and Scott, took home
Third Place and a check for $235 for 10.72 lbs and five fish .

Big Bass of the tournament was a 5.71 lb largemouth weighed in by
Blake Ellison and Doug Detherow, both of Inola. $190.
Of the 45 boats competing, 31 teams weighed in a total of 68 fish
for a total combined weight of 145.37 lbs, including 5 limits.
On Friday, August 8th, Tulsa Metro will host the Second Annual
Larry Mann Memorial Night Bass Tournament at Grand Lake out of
Martin Landing. This is a change from the original date and
take-off site. Fishing time will be from 9:00pm on Friday, to 7:00
am on Saturday.
Entry Fee is $75 per team. You do not have to be a member of Tulsa
Metro Bass League to fish in this tournament. More information
will be available on OklahomaBassFishing.com later this week.
Brochures will be available the second week of July.
After a break from the heat, the next Tulsa Metro Bass League
regular season tournament "The Carr & Carr/Falcon Rods Open" is
scheduled for Saturday, September 20th at Webbers Falls. The
pre-tournament meeting will be held on Thursday, September 18th at
6:00pm at Okiebug in Tulsa. Entries received prior to that time
will be placed in the drawing for boat position. Entries received
after the drawing will be placed at the end of the field, but will
be required to weigh in with the first flight. Contact Dave Roush
