Having acquainted ourselves with the rules
we have completed the application and are enclosing our total team
fee. In signing this application, we hereby waive and release all
other contestants, hosts, sponsors, and tournament officials from
all claims, injuries, and/or damages incurred in connection with
this event. We acknowledge that our personal safety and the safety
of our property is our sole responsibility. We further understand
and agree that the tournament official reserves the right to refund
the entry fee if they should choose for any reason not to accept our
application.

TOURNAMENT RULES
1. VICTOR and BRENDA LEAKE WILL BE IN
CHARGE
OF THE WEIGH-IN
2. ELIGIBILITY Open to the public with paid
entry. Must be 16
or over. If 16, must be accompanied by adult.
3. STATE & LOCAL LAWS All State and local
laws enforced.
4. ENTRY FEES See entry form on this flyer
or pay at ramp.
Must have signed entry form before start of fishing.
5. SPECIES Large Mouth Bass, Small Mouth
Bass, and Kentucky Bass
(Spotted Bass)
6. DEPARTURE & RETURN Number of flights
will be determined by number of entries. Must leave out of
designated Ramp; no trailering allowed. Will draw take off number at
ramp each morning of tournament. All contestants must have their
name on the board before 3pm.
7. SCORING 5 fish limit, 14-inch minimum.
Only Large Mouth, Spotted, and/or Small Mouth Bass allowed. Dead
fish will be weighed at weigh master's discretion. No dead fish can
win big bass pot. 1/2 pound will be deducted from total weight, for
each dead fish. Short fish will result in loss of largest fish being
weighed.
8. BOATS & MOTORS Any safe boat over ten
feet with working livewell and an operable kill switch.
9. TACKLE & EQUIPMENT Only artificial bait
or lures may be used. Pork-style baits are allowed. No trolling,
must be caught on rod & reel.
10. SAFETY & SPORTSMANSHIP Safe boating and
fishing practices must be observed at all times. Life jackets must
be worn when boat is on plane.
11. FISHING ALONE Contestants may elect to
fish without a partner and pay full entry fee.
12. MONEY TIES In case of a tie the winner
will be the team with largest bass. If still a tie, will add 2
places together and divide equally.
13. THERE IS NO DEAD WATER TIME.
14. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE may be in your
possession during tournament.
15. WEIGH-IN No fish will be weighed in
unless brought to weigh-in in a bag with water.
16. ENTRY FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE.
17. LATE PENALTY One pound per minute up to
10 minutes will be deducted, then disqualification. No excuses or
exceptions.
18. ENTRY DEADLINE Contestants may pay at
ramp. Officials will start taking money one hour before takeoff on
the morning of the event. Or if mailed, the entry form to be
postmarked 10 days prior to the date of the tournament.
19. CLASSIC Each member must fish 5 out of
7 regular events to make the classic.
