LMBV meeting
at Backlash Tackle in
Tulsa
| With
over 70 Oklahoma angers in attendance, several Oklahoma
Department of Wildlife Conservation's employees presented
a Largemouth Bass Virus seminar at Backlash Tackle in
Tulsa. This meeting was to inform the Oklahoma Bass
anglers of the virus and what that the ODWC knows about
the LMBV. Gene Gilliland led this seminar by presenting a
computer generated slide show while he and other ODWC
answered questions. |

One
of the other concerns that Gene and the other ODWC
employees touched on was the Zebra Mussel problem. Zebra
Mussels are in some of the Oklahoma waters and the ODWC's
concern is of them spreading to unaffected Oklahoma
waters.
