Rules and Regulations
- Teams will consist of one or two members. Members must be at
least 16 years of age or teamed with a parent or legal guardian.
Each member must possess a valid Oklahoma fishing license.
- Each member must pay a $25.00 annual membership fee. Annual
membership fees are non-refundable.
- Substitutes are allowed with a $10.00 fee. Failure to report a
substitute will result in team disqualification. Each team is
allowed one substitute per year, and may use them as often as
needed.
- Partner changes under hardship cases may be allowed. The
change and new partner must be approved before the day of the
tournament.
- Polygraph examinations may be required. Failure to submit to
an examination or if both partners fail, it will result in team
disqualifications and forfeiture of all fees paid.
- Cheating in any tournament will result in revocation of
membership, and legal action.
- The director has the authority to disqualify/eject any
participant for rules violations or conduct deemed
unsportsmanlike.
- Entry fee of $65.00 per team must be paid prior to flight
drawing (6:30pm Thursday before tournament). Entry fee will be
refunded, upon request, if team fails to take off at tournament,
provided request is made prior to the next tournament.
- Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in boats at any time.
- Approved life vests must be worn and kill switches attached
while boat is on plane. State and local lake safety rules will be
followed.
- Boat and livewell inspections are required prior to takeoff,
if not inspected; the fish will not be weighed in.
- Lake is off limits after dark the night prior to the
tournament.
- No fishing is allowed within 50 yards of another entrant if
their boat is anchored.
- Trolling from a combustion engine is prohibited. Fish must be
caught from boat with rod and reel and artificial baits only.
- All teams must be checked in by weigh-in time. Late weigh-in
penalty will be one pound per minute. After five minutes, the team
will be disqualified.
- Containers are provided by O.K. Anglers Association. Fish
presented at weigh-in in any other containers will result in a
penalty of 2 pounds.
- Only Largemouth, Smallmouth and Kentucky Bass are eligible for
weigh-in.
- If more than five fish are presented for weigh-in, the
smallest will be culled and a two pound penalty will be assessed.
- A two pound penalty will be assessed for each short bass. Fish
are measured on a golden rule with mouth closed.
- No culling at weigh-in site. A two pound penalty will be
assessed.
- All live fish are to be returned to the lake as directed by
officials.
- Each dead fish presented for weigh-in will result in a 2/10
pound penalty. Iced fish are never allowed for weigh-in.
- All decisions of the director are final!
- Must fish four events to make the classic.
