Konowa again

My partner and I went back to Konowa last week ( dec 13 ) just so happened there was a jackpot tournement so we decided to join in ( donate ) And I am ashamed to say , but I really sucked.... couldnt buy a strike. But my partner caught 5 fish for a total of just under 10 pounds. But but there were already three teams with more weight weighed in .I dont know how much it took to win but the leader at the time we weighed in had just over 15 pounds. If anyone knows where to find results would you please post? The guy told us the next one would be in two weeks and he would give us a schedual after the weigh in but we didnt stick around.
Would have stayed to see the winner but we had a long drive back to Yukon ahead of us,and I was tired and disgusted lol. We fished like we always have... small soft plastics in fairly shallow water ( 8 to 14ft.) trying to fish the edge of the weeds. The week before we would have had a good shot at it as we caught a lot of nice fish then , but this time the water had cooled from 57 down to 47 degrees. I was really suprised that there were so many large 5 fish limits turned in. Maybe next time....
